Codie- Hunter Valley Golden Hour Maternity Session
Sep 14, 2020 | By: Eliza Emily Photography
Combine my two favourite things...golden hour light and a beautiful Mum to be and you get a maternity session like this!
We did have a false start a couple of days earlier when some crazy August weather rained our parade but I think it worked out for the best because despite some breezy moments, the afternoon light was just spectacular and we were able to capture the warmth and golden tones Codie was looking for in her session
Big brother to be, little man Rykah who I photographed as a newborn wasn't too keen on the idea of photos when there was an awesome puddle to throw rocks in and a brick wall to climb but a little convincing and maybe a one of my secret stashed emergency lollipops soon got him in front of the camera and we captured some beautiful memories for Codie to have of her little family before it grows
Codie opted for earthy, warm tones and feel to her session and looked stunning wearing dresses from my client wardrobe in white lace, mustard and dusty pink, accessorised with a beautiful wheat crown, vintage shawl and fedora which are all also available as a part of my client wardrobe
Maternity sessions can be daunting because you may be feeling a little less than glamorous especially once you hit that 3rd trimester when a session usually takes place, but I think they are really quite important to document this time, and not just for you but for you baby as well. Its such a fleeting time and something that you can reminisce with your child about as they grow
your session can be styled to suit your tastes and can be something quite laid back and simple or can be a full glam makeover, feel free to contact me to discuss what I can create for you to help you celebrate this time!
